I’m pleased to announce that version 2.1 of QuickBugz has been released. Some of the cool new features include:
    • Automatic updates via the Sparkle framework!
    • Integrated console view (described below)
    • Misc bug fixes, including fixes for direct filter navigation
    • …for a limited time, QuickBugz will be free!

That’s right! Get it while it’s hot! You can download it from the main page or via this link: Download QuickBugz 2.1

    About Console Mode

Version 2.1 introduces a new feature into QuickBugz: Console Mode. Simply put, console mode is a way for you to be able to open and view bugz without having to worry about always keeping a browser session open. You can close your QuickBugz console and return to it at any time. It will be right where you left it. Features include:

    • “Always On” browsing mode. No need to worry about keeping windows open!
    • “Recent Cases” feature — Jump to cases that you’ve been working with from within Kiln of FogBugz!
    • Automatic integration with QuickBugz — to use it, just open a case!

Hope you like it, and of course, enjoy your free copy of QuickBugz!

Welcome to QuickBugz! Download a Free Trial Today!

Hey Fellow FogBugger! Thanks for stopping by and checking out QuickBugz. QuickBugz is a small but powerful application for getting control over your FogBugz account. I created it because there quite simply wasn’t anything out there that did what I needed. I wanted:

    • Something that wasn’t a program. Not to make that sound like a dirty thing, but if you’re anything like me you have twenty zillion things open at a time. IDE’s, terminals, hundreds of browser tabs… Having one more full blown application isn’t exactly something I am out there kicking around for.
    • Something that just showed me my stuff. To be sure, there are dozens of programs out there for FogBugz… but they show me every-bug-my-company-has-ever-created, not just the-stuff-I-wanna-work-on-right-now.
    • Something that could save my skin when someone asks me “What’s going on with Ticket Number X!?!?” With QuickBugz, no matter what I’m doing, I can have the answer in moments. And that just makes you feel warm inside, doesn’t it?

Okay so there you have it. I really hope you enjoy QuickBugz. I had a lot of fun making it.

And as always, to open a ticket, mail cases@quickbugz.fogbugz.com ;)
